Stefan Gevers is an award-winning contemporary watercolour artist born in the Netherlands who now lives and works in Melbourne. He is known for his unique and modern approach to watercolour painting, drawing inspiration from the Australian landscape, nature and the subtle patterns found in the environment. His paintings often combine abstract forms, delicate textures, colours and lines to capture the beauty and character of a place. Rather than trying to control every aspect of the watercolour medium, Stefan embraces it’s natural flow and unpredictable qualities to create expressive and distinctive artworks.
